Art Direction

I love the chunky square symmetry of Bell & Ross watches, being a collector and an admirer of their affordable business model so it was a no-brainer for me to shoot their BR 03-92 Matte Black.  Because of their connection to aviation and in this instance the cockpit we decided to tie the watch to a weather balloon and watch it soar into a mythical sun set.

Alexander Kent delivered a beautifully simple shot while we were all in Covid-19 lockdown and we went back and fourth for days to get it right.  Often the most simple shots are the most complex and art directing without being in the room is possible but has its challenges. You really need to do it in real time.  I love this shot though.  It makes me want another Bell & Ross.
