I’m a bit obsessed with silk scarves because they can change a look for minimal expense in a heartbeat.  Funk it up, play it down, go from ladies who lunch to vamp and back again – the possibilities are endless really.

They also are collectible and gifting is key but I wanted to rough up the idea and walking to work one day I saw that eternal plastic bag caught in the branches of a tree and I thought, that’s it!  What if my best silk scarf was caught, flapping in the breeze?  It would be such an arresting sight and I had to recreate that for the magazine.
